The AccelerateBLK project represents a ground breaking initiative of Datakirk, dedicated to accelerating the career growth and success of Black talents and entrepreneurs through comprehensive capacity-building programme. This three-armed project is specifically designed to support Black talents and entrepreneurs in overcoming barriers and unlocking their potential for success. In 2023, AccelerateBLK onboarded and trained a total of 84 program participants, including 37 talented individuals for Black on Board, 32 for the Career Accelerator, and 15 for Entrepreneurship.

With a background in Computer Science, I completed my B.Sc. at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh, earning M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. I joined Public Health Scotland as an Information Analyst. Enrolling in the PDA in Data Science program in 2022, I expanded my skills and knowledge, which significantly contributed to my promotion to Senior Information Analyst.
